Well- I found this site tonight by reading a similar site about Garage builds . So I am thankful for the link over there.... So cutting to the chase - I have owned my 67 SS conv. since 1986 .... it was my third chevelle. A 71 which was my first car and put me in the hospital for 2 weeks due to my speed demon antics in the rain. Second car a year later was a 67 hardtop Malibu automatic. I wanted a 4 speed and while talking about this desire in a speed shop . another customer butted in and said he had this car for sale and I reluctantly went to look at it.... I was concerned that having a convertible as my only car could be a problem .... I am so glad I got over that fear... It served me well as my only car for 7 years. I am looking forward to learning from the vast knowledge on this site. My plan for the future of this car will be to one day do a frame off restoration. That maybe in the distant future but I will learn as we go.

Nice ride if its your only driver I would love to see a pic of it in this mess of a blizzard we just went through ~~ I used to drive mine EVERYDAY Rain or shine except in snow I did it a COUPLE of times when I had no other option but I can't imagine doing that in NYC. That is one reason I bought the AWD Trailblazer SS it is LOTS of fun with 400+ HP LS2 and AWD in the snow

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I will dig out some more photos when I can.... Still unpacking from a really daunting move... This car does not get driven in the snow anymore. A sign of my old age I guess... It was my only car when I was 20 till about 27... during which time my favorite winter pass time was going out into the nether regions to pick up my friends and beer in this car and drive around during crazy snow storms when they were telling people to stay off the roads.... Find deserted parking lots and do donuts until we were chased out.... Sometime the cops would take our beer other times they didnt bother.... My how times have changed..... I do have photos of this activity as well.... I will dig them out and scan them ASAP... Promise!
Now.... The car gets put away before the first salt is laid on the roads and doesnt come out again till a few rains have surely wash it all away.
Cool Chevelle and cool picture!
