Hey, has anyone tried this? http://rover.ebay.com/ar/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?mpt=1582163170&adtype=1&size=1x1&type=3&campid=5336121898&toolid=10001 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1968-1969-1970-1971-1972-CHEVELLE-REAR-DISC-BRAKES-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem35af7d23a3QQitemZ23057 7480611QQptZVintageQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccess ories (http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?type=3&campid=5336121898&toolid=10001&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fcgi.ebay.com%2Febaymotors%2F1968-1969-1970-1971-1972-CHEVELLE-REAR-DISC-BRAKES-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem35af7d23a3QQitemZ23057 7480611QQptZVintageQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccess ories)
Looks to retain the ebrake and the price is right. I already have discs up front and any calipers I could source from an f-body or c5 (what I had been considering) would be almost this much. My car is just a cruiser, but I'm tired of seeing the buster-ass drums through my wheels and need a change. I'm not a brand whore but I can appreciate quality. What do you guys think? "You get what you pay for" is not a valid response considering where and how almost all of the stuff today is made.
Thanks in advance.

Edit-After more searching it looks like this place is Auto City Classics and people in tri-five forums seem pretty satisfied with the product. I think people here have used it and the only knock it the bleeder might trap a bit of air. Wish willwood kit wasn't so much more $$.

Not those brakes but i did get some from a seller named buy911 i paid 280.00 shipped, when i got them all the boxes said CPP on them and "drop shipped for cpp" the kit included parking cables and everything... All the parts had chineese writting on them tho and i havent tested them out yet but install was easy.

What can you expect for $300?

I suppose if it's for looks only and you don't really need the brakes to be durable.

I wouldn't trust my life on a track with them though. I would use Wilwood, Brembo, AP, etc.

Well when your stock set up is completly shot out and your adding up what it would cost for new drums, wheel cylinders, hardware kit, hardlines, wheel studs, shoes etc its going to be 300.00 range anyways... Guys dont act like you dont buy cpp stuff its all chineese crap jus like your door skins and 1/4 pannels.

I cant speak for others but it looks like a decent kit for the money. I think I might get one with the ole tax refund

I purchased some parts from Buy911 on Ebay, and as someone mentioned they were drop shipped from CPP. I bought the tubular control arms a couple of months back, and just recently bought the front and rear disc brake setups. I watched them for a while, but the kits worked out to practically the same price of replacing all of my factory setup. The control arms look good, looks like del-alum busings, poly bumpstops, bolted right on no problems - for like $300 (upper and lower).

I just got the brake setups last week and bolted on the fronts - waiting on my rear at the powder coater's...fronts bolted on no problems, **** - came with bearing, pads, calipers, braided cables, backing plate, spindles, and slotted/drilled rotors - for less than I would have payed to replace my stock stuff. The spindles, brackets, and backing plates were practically free. I painted the rotors and calipers before install, but everything fit well and looks nice. I'm sure the Brembo and Wilwood sets are much nicer, but these look great (so far) and cost the same as a factory setup. My main concern was sloppy fitment, but everything bolted right on. Check out the pics.
