who can help just put new moog springs &
sensatrac shocks on my 70 ss.and set the body
back on frame and i dont like the height
the assembley manual shows the upper&lower
control armsat a lockup of 5.00 from top of
axle to well in frame i have about 7.00 to
7.50 can i loosen control arms to get this
height.with body on frame will i have to
remove shocks. thanks

You just set the body back on the frame? If the car is not assembled, it will set high due to the lack of weight. Also the car should be driven a little so the springs have a chance to "settle in". Loosening the control arms will not help. I would finish the car and after driving it some, then worry about the height.

Ron couldn't get your E to work.I would loosen the bushings and let the car sit and settle...FRED

I would NOT torque any of the suspension bolts until the car was totally reassembled(Ok, before installing the exhaust!) and sitting on a level surface.
