I am about to replace burned gaskets for the second time and am considering copper gaskets and also replacing the inside bolts with hex heads so they can be tightened periodically. Any opinions on copper vs. double gaskets or whatever? Also, are there any special considerations/procedures for installing copper gaskets?

Copper gaskets are probably OK but I found that Fel-Pro stock replacements are about the best I've used. I used to work on a local circle track car and we had the aluminum ones with the graphite inserts. After only a few times on and off, the inserts broke. We got the Fel-Pros and ran them a season and a half. On and off countless times and no leaks. As far as the bolts coming loose, use Stage 8 bolts and never touch them again or just put some RTV on the stock bolts.
