I have a 1970 454 512 block/heads are 049 with 2.19/1.88 valves ..what is the best plugs for this engine..mild cam,stock quadrajet /auto trans..no ac..power steering

Anything wrong with AC?

kind of like asking for a good brand of olive oil at a cooking website; ac is fine I use ac and bosch. for years I was a champion man, but on a maiden voyage in a 56 chevy with a fresh overhaul I looked the fool because of a bad plug, I was young thats another story, as long as you Don't buy a cheap plug you will be fine,

With 049 heads you'll use a taper seat plug. If you choose an AC plug, it will have "T" in the code to designate taper seat. AC R44TS for example.
