Hey UMI, I was wondering if there was a Canadian UMI vendor (east coast preferably).

Hello,

We have only a few but none that stock A-Body components. I will post two below for you. Also you can try Summit Racing, they have a good shipping service to Canada.

Lastly we have a new UPS service, this UPS service allows us to collect taxes and brokerage fees up front so there is no cost to you when delivered to your door. We ship in bulk so we are able to offer discounted fee's on this service. If you would like a quote from us direct PM me your address and products of interest.

Canada dealers:

www.powerhouseperformance.ca

www.fasttoys.net

I hope this helps!
Ryan

Thanks for the fast response. Once I get up to speed on the components that I need I will contact you and compare the price of getting it through you guys directly, or through a local vendor who can order things through Summit.

So my parts will go from UMI -> Summit -> Local Vendor

I was thinking of just getting the Front Lower and Upper Control Arms, for now, but I may wait and place a few more items all at once.

An aside question that occurred to me while thinking was your Delrin bushing for the A-arms. As Delrin is a self-lubricating material would it really require additional lubrication? And I'm also concerned that lubrication would cause the material to swell and bind.

Great to hear. I will be happy to quote you and see where we stand... if not, any retailer that has a Summit Racing account can purchase our products as well.

The Delrin excepts grease to prolong life and prevent wear. On the upper A-Arms the cross shaft rotates in the Delrin bushings as the suspension travels. Grease on these bushings offers less friction during movement and less wear to the bushing itself.

I hope that helps and I look forward to working with you,
Ryan
