Hi guys...I have now assembled all the engine components, with the exception of the cam..The setup is this: .030 over 454 2 bolt block (959) casting number that has been "0" decked. Scat series 9000 crank. Scat H-Beam rods. TRW H581CP Hyperectic pistons with a .340 dome. 049 heads Ported and polished 2.19 Intake and 1.88 exhaust stainless valves, milled .015. Crane 99896 springs, Crane Energizer Roller Rockers and Comp Cams Stud girdle. Victor Jr. intake port matched to the heads and a Holley 950HP carb. No NOS will ever be on this setup. The car will be a weekend car with an occassional trip down the track...Any suggestions guys..Where is UD_Harold? Thanks.

Renegade,I was going to recomend a 288/296f10 since are combos are similar,I would guess with milling the heads.015 that would put them around 116cc,and that would put you around 10.6 on comp.cam specs 255/263@50 612/630 lift,and will run on pump gas,I used the 99893 crane springs.and I have the same pistons.Maybe someone else can help you with a cam for that kind of spring pressure,Good luck! graemlins/waving.gif
