I saw a post regarding vinyl stripes... I have never heard of these! Do they look just as good as painted stripes??? How much are they, where do i get them, and are they easy to take on and off??

'67-'69 stripes are available from most repo shops. If you are talking about the 70-72 bid wide stripes, I have never seen them avialable in vinyl, only stencil kit for painting. If they were I wouldn't think they would last or look good because of the large area.

I knew a guy who had these on his car. (Ford) They were about 6" wide, and he had two of them. I would not think that they would be made as an exact fit for a Chevelle. This was more like the pinstriping used on a car. Check with a local detail shop, as they may be able to help you out.
