Hello Everyone,

For our next Chevy High Performance and Super Chevy Ad we need a 64-72 Chevelle or El Camino picture for the ad. The picture must be original and uncompressed or 300dpi.

The car does not need to have UMI components on it although that is a plus but again not needed. We prefer an action shoot but again not needed.

If you picture is selected we will supply you a $100 gift certificate to use on any UMI Performance product. Also your car will be featured in a Chevy High Performance and Super Chevy Ad for at least one month.

Why are we doing this? Well a few reasons, one is our test car is a Pontiac Lemans which is not a chevy. Second, all customer Chevelles in our area are stored away for winter right now.

Thanks for the help!
Ryan

Any news on this? I just got the new issue of Chevy Hi and didn't see any UMI ads with a TCer's car.

Sorry for not updating.

Our ad designer was looking for an action picture and we selected a picture submitted by Mike N. with his Chevelle at the drag strip. The next issues of Chevy High Performance and Super Chevy will display the add with his picture.

We have saved all other pictures for future use and I will update you on new ads.

Thanks!
Ryan

Ryan, thanks for considering my car and using the photo. I'm also really happy with the performance of my UMI rear suspension components. I've got my car launching well with some simple, affordable bolt-ons.

Here's the photo I think they're using if anyone is curious...

Mike, Cool pic and a cool pick by UMI to use yours. Congrats.
Do you happen to have the rear lift bars with a sway bar that UMI offers? Am curious as to how "built" your suspension is. Thanks.

Dan, my suspension (both front and rear) is surprisingly stock.

FRONT
Stock Moog replacement coil springs for a 69 w/396, stock replacement Monroe shocks bought at Pep Boys 12 years ago, Hotchkis sway bar.

REAR
Stock replacement rear coils springs, stock replacement Monroe shocks bought at Pep Boys 12 years ago, UMI double-adjustable upper control arms, UMI lower control arms with UMI relocation brackets, Hotchkis sway bar, Hotchkis air bags in each rear coil spring.

At the track I run 5PSI in the left bag and 15PSI in the right.

M/T ET Drag slicks, 26.0X10.0X15, 18PSI

Typical 60' times are 1.59 - 1.62
