Man, pulled my heads today . They are a set oF GMPP Roval ports ( made by Edelbrock). They each have a small crack at a intake valve seat that is about 1/4" long.

These are going to also need a valve job. Since they were milled in the past the decks are already down to the seats. Are these things worth saving? They are going to need a valve work at the same time, one exhaust failed the Leak by test.

My problem is Im new to the east coast and dont have a shop that I can trust.

Search around here for messages from BillK, he owns a quality machine shop in Md. He can either fix it or point you to somebody who can.

Roger,
I can take care of them for you, but its a bit of a drive over the bridge ! I would have to see them first to see if they are worth doing. I will make a call or two on Tuesday and see if I can find someone closer. If you want to call me the number is 301-843-5700

Bill can fix them graemlins/thumbsup.gif

He fixed a junk set early GM BB heads for a 427 that had a crack in the seat and down into the port. Or better said he found a guy who would not give up on fixing the head.

Your heads are much better made than the old stuff and should not be that much of a problem.
