i need help guys.my vert was in pieces when i bought it and i dont know how the pinch weld molding/quarter window felt ties together.i some and please post some good pictures of this area it would really help me.
the window felt is notched but it does not look like the notch is long enough for the molding.

here is a picture of what i need

I think you need to move your felt up to the trim as red mark in the picture.
Also I have all four NOS felts if you need me to measure them.

i know that the notch has to move up closer to the molding.i feel that the notch should be bigger to allow the last screw hole in the window felt.to line up with/weave into the first screw hole of the pinchweld molding.right now the 2 screw holes on each piece wont line up,with it notched the way it is now.
if you have a picture of this area and how they lap each other.that would really help me.i believe i have it figured out but before i go cutting into the window felt to make it work.i want to be sure of what i am doing.so some pictures of this area and how they are installed is what i really need.
