I have the same motor laying around,flat tops,049's..good street motor with a mild cam,headers,and an intake

I don't think RPO LS5 was used after 1972
That motor would be called an LS4

Really the only difference was that the 1973-on LS4 used a cast crank (except Corvettes with manual trannys).
