My friend has a 69 SS and he is going to get a new front sway bar. He is thinking of giving it to me, but will it fit on my 1970 Malibu.

Yes, it will bolt right on. Check to see if it is a larger diameter than what you currently have, it may be the same size.If it's larger your bushings may not fit and you will have to buy bigger ones, or maybe they'll come with the bar. Have fun!

The 69 sway bar will fit perfectly on your 70. It was option F-41 however the brakets and bushings shouldnt work. I think they are still available from GM part#3994334 bracket and388294 bushings, some early Monte Carlos shared the big bar tj nelson
