RULE # 1 ALWAYS inspect machine shop work !!!! http://stevesnovasite.com/forums/attachment.php?s=&postid=9749 I picked up my heads form the shop after some winter tune up work. After I flushed them and bolted them down I was getting ready to install the valve train. Then I noticed this little UFO looking thing hinding next to a valve. It was stuck between a coil and seat but popped out easily with a pair of needle nose pliers. Any idea what it is? http://stevesnovasite.com/forums/attachment.php?s=&postid=9750

Looks like a piece of media from a parts tumbler for cleaning valves etc.

Can't see the second photo real well but it looks to me like a "drill point" What you would get after you drilled through a piece of metal.

Jeff Thats what I though until I pulled it out, its solid and the top matches the bottom, like a miniture of saturn with its rings.
