I bought a TCI roll stop kit for my 71 chevelle and was wondering if anyone has sugesstions on where to mount the solenoid, or the interior control switch? I want it to look as neat as possible, especially under the hood without having to run an extra mile of brake line. Thanks.

I mounted mine on the firewall below the master cyl and slightly to the right. The switch should be mounted on the steering wheel or the shifter.

I'd agree with Golden67. My buddy who has a 70 SS also mounted his below the master cylinder. I would mount the switch to the shifter, cuz then you can keep your hand on the shift at all times and still have access to the line lock.

An alternative to the roll switch: Use your horn button. When your doing burn outs you probably won't need your horn to work. Run a wire from the + side of the solenoid to the horn relay and terminate it with a connector just like the horn wire has on it). When you want roll control temporarily disconnect the wire from the horn relay that goes to the horns(12V when horn button pushed)and push on the wire to the solenoid. Makes for a clean installation and is easy to switch back and forth.
