I am looking at what I need to convert my 69 Corvette 427/435HP to Holley HP Multi-Point Fuel Injection. I have been watching and reading posts on the Holley HP EFI for months, and really like the Holley EFI systems.
1. Can anyone suggest what size Holley Fuel Injectors that I need for MPFI? My standard deck Chevy 427 is +30 over, 11:1 CR, rect port iron heads (840's), stock GM solid lifer cam, MSD tach drive distributor with a MSD 6AL box, McJack block 2" headers into side pipes? I am guessing that this combo gives me around 400-450HP. I plan on getting better alum heads later.
2. How do I wire the FAST Dual Sync Distributor (305005) into the Holley HP MPFI? I want to run sequential FI. Should I (or could I) use my MSD 6AL CD box? Also, where do I pick the tach signal for a electronic tach gauge if I use the FAST distributor?
Thanks
Jeff

36-42 lbs injectors will work well for you. If you plan to go over 500 hp, get 42's.

Have you looked into the systems from FAST? Thats the way I plan on going with mine. There's a member over on Pro-touring.com that has an awesome write up of his install that he did on his Camaro. Try this link, hope it works.

Also, you might want to check the manufacturers website, you can download the instructions to see whats involved. I know this is the case with FAST and have done so myself.
Good Luck!

Some Holley EFI dealers can do this for you. You HAVE to use a CD box with the FAST distributor. It just outputs a crank and cam signal. You'd get the RPM signal from the CD box.

ditto on what's said above...42's would be fine. they're good to about 550hp at base pressure with a little duty cycle overhead.
we make the the jumper harness pnp for holley to fast xfi dual sync and there is a specific installation procedure to follow. cam and crank are inputted on this connector while the white "points out" trigger is utilized to control your msd ignition.
