I have a quick question. I took my 307 outta my 71 and put a 400. I took the vacuum canister out cause my dad said I don't need it (he's not always right) But do I need it? I don't have a/c, its power steering but not brakes and I dont have power brakes yet. So if I were to put pb and a vintage air system in my car, would I need it? Thanks

It depends on the cam you have in the motor. How much vacuum does the motor have at idle?

I'm not sure what the cam is, the 400 is bored 30 over and the guy I got it from, said theres a little bit wilder cam in it but I'm not completely sure.
