i am having problems with my rear left break light and rear left signal.all other lights work fine.these are the only one that won't go on.does this sound like a bad signal harness.i have checked the bulbs and they are good.

Try cleaning inside the bulb sockets lightly with sandpaper. Also clean every ground under the hood u can find. They probably need it. Check the fuses, and also get a new turn sig flasher and brake light switch. I had the identical problem, and now have all lights working. We have to remember that these switches are 35 yrs old and have probably never been replaced/cleaned.Try cleaning the contacts in your fuse box also.Good Luck.

Ken gave you some very good leads. If you check it all, you should find the problem. Just to clear one thing up, the grounds for your rear lites will be in the back, under the light housing. Good luck!
