In Riverside, CA. I am thinking of having them build my 383 using my 0010 010 020 4 bolt block and 041 heads. Long block price of 2300.00 w/1 year or 12,000 mi. warranty.

I have a stock (well, 204/214 112 lsa cam) 350 rebuild from them that I have added SR Torquer heads to. It's 8 years old this month and doesn't use a drop of oil and has never been touched, except for the above mentioned heads. Probably 130,000 miles on it.

One thing, though, is piston selection. Since you're looking at a 383 it might not be an issue but stock replacement cast pistons are .020 short on compression height. This sets the piston an extra .020" down the hole and makes getting a .040" quench just about impossible. If they are using KB pistons, this shouldn't be an issue.

I bought my stroker "kit" from these guys. Crank, rods, pistons, rings, damper & flexplate, plus add'l. charge for balancing. Their machine work was spot-on, and the stuff arrived in one piece (good packaging).

This was 15 years and 8500 miles ago, so caviat emptor.
