I was wondering If I was going to have to purchase the original 4BBL Accelerator Rod to install my new Street Avenger? It doesn't look like the stock 2BBL accelerator rod will work.

Just make a new one out of heim joints and threaded rod.

I did that conversion on my '65. The Street Avenger throttle connection plate has lots of holes in it so it will work with lots of applications. The stock linkage rod for the 283 with 2 bbl worked with the Holley Street Avenger on my car. I had problems with the idle being too high. But that had nothing to do with the linkage. If you have that problem, post again and I will chime in with things I tried that worked and did not work.
