anyone know the measurment for putting a hole in the dash for the convertible switch?.. putting in a new ss round style dash to take place of sweep style. 1970 chevelle

RealRed70 Nov 25th, 10, 11:46 PM To see where the top switch goes just look on ebay motors at the 70 Chevelle convertibles that are for sale. There are about four or five for sale right now. All but one has the switch to the right of the radio. That is where it should go, to the right. That way if a rear defogger was ordered it could go on the left where is should go. The SS that has it wrong has an aftermarket dash - so they just put that one in the wrong location. Probably out of convienence seeing they do not have the rear defoggger. Ahhhh now to make the hole.in the dash.. scary scary.... if i remember last time i had mine out it was not just a round hole it was like a jigsaw puzzle piece..... because this is where the top switch BEZEL fits... then the switch... thanks for all the research and comments done here by all | ||
