Hi Doug,
I currently have a BB470 with a 174 root supercharger, and I am interested in seeing if you have done any Avenger EFI research/installation with a similar efi/supercharger combination. Application - street/light strip.
Can the Holley custom shop services modify my supercharger manifold for injection?
Thanks in advance.

The avenger doesn't use a 2 bar map sensor so you'd want the laptop HP system. I believe you only have one carb pad on top? YOu can run TBI, works great on roots blowers, but for one carb pad you are limted to 550HP or so, not enough fo your application I'm sure. If you have two you can run 2 TBI's. There are other options but TBI is the easiest.
Currently pushing 625 HP. Single carb pad. 174 too small for 2nd pad.
Any other efi recommendations/options for single pad/roots? I really like the 174.

I think its way overpriced, but obviously opinions vary. You could do the same thing with an injector plate under a more conventional throttlebody.
made by E&J Autoworks and popular with rotary guys. cost around $750.00.

The E&J throttle body looks like it has a 4500 flange. The 174 has a 4150 size flange.

Thanks. The piece looks beautiful, but this will probably turn into a $4k plus system when adding injectors , machining, pump, throttle, and sw. Sigh.

With a single carb pad I'd either run something like this or personally I'd machine my own 8 injector plate similar to this integrated design.
I'll say this though, for what you get $750 isn't a bad pricing. Billet machined parts are not cheap to make.
I don't think you'd end up being around 3k for all the parts including the fuel system if you buy good stuff at retail prices. Doing things yourself and finding different ways you can shave that down a bit.
