Can someone explain a 3 angle valve job to me. Are their benefits to having this kind of valve job or is it the only kind their is !! Sorry for the stupidity, Thanx !!

That is where the valve seats are ground at 45 degrees initially. Then a 30 degree stone is used to take material off the top and a 60 degree stone to take material away from the center.

This is how the valve seat is moved in or out to the proper position on the valve face, as well as getting the proper valve seat width. Usually steel bluing is used after the initial grind at 45 degrees so you can see where you're removing material with the other two stones and how wide the seat is. Bluing is also put on the valve face when lapping the valves making it easy to see the position where the valve is hitting the valve seat.
