I just got a used TCI torque converter for my 66.Should I take it somewhere and have it flushed(if so where?)Itis in good shape,came out of a running car(got the motor and trans for some tattoo time).Thanx for the advice. Vonswanko.

Yes, I would get it flushed. It's better safe than sorry.

I'd pull the trans pan and check for deposits in there. If the pan looks normal the converter is probably ok. Chevelle tattoos?
