I'm building a street rod, using an LY6 6.0. I got a Walbro pump from Summit, but I am unclear on the lines I need to go with this thing. I really want to run metal lines from the pump to the filter and from the filter to the engine. Can someone point me in the right direction for the fittings and lines I need to get it done??

Is -6AN really big enough to supply the engine?? I got an adapter with the pump to go from 10mm to -6AN line, but the internal opening on the adapter is only a shade less than .250.... Seems like it needs to be bigger like .312...
Thanks,

-6 is more than fine. Holley offers metric to -6 AN fittings you can adapt to hardline.

Great. Thanks!

Just doesn't seem like that small of line would feed it.

Fwiw I'm using the stock 5/16 fuel line on my 70 Malibu and a walbro 255 intank pump.

Ran it with that setup at 560rwhp. When I upped the boost I added a kenny bell boost-a-pump and now it makes 650rwhp, still with the 5/16 line.

With a 3/8 feed line, or similar to a -6, I've had cars making 1100+rwhp.

Line size can be smaller on an EFI car vs carbed because of the much higher operating pressure.
