i have a good tuned carb now, but im thinking of going to the holley 950tbi injection... but i don't wanna bunch of hassle tuning again... anyone with a stout big block use this new holley system? it's only $1400 new so i figure what the heck...

I went with a Ramjet 502. I LOVE fuel injection. It takes care of itself, no running problems etc.....
Be prepared to $pend much more than going carbureted, but the results should be worth it.

Oh yeah!
TPI on top of a ZZ4 here. Mine's programmable (as is the Holley setup you're considering). Definitely the way to go, in my opinion. It might be a lot of work, but I think the results will be worth it. I'll be firing mine up soon (couple of weeks hopefully!).

Ryan, what kind of runners are you using? Do you have an aftermarket base?

They're SLP runners, and no, it's a stock base. I might change it later on if I don't like the power curve (doubtful). I ported the plenum and did some minor work on the base, too.
