I have a 67 with a transplanted 454 with Barry Grant (Holley), I'd like to convert to a cable throttle. Anyone have part #s for cable, bracket, foot pedal... anything from a successful install???

Lokar has the stuff you need, A little pricy though

I don't have the part numbers on me, but a very easy install and I think it works better than the stock rod assembly.

If I remember right. The Lokar assembly for a 68 Camaro 6 cylinder bolts right in. Thats what I was told here on TC also. Then use the universal cable kit.

Im still debating on whether to change to a Lokar setup from the original linkage rods in my 66. I hear that you have a lot better feel on your foot with the rod linkages.

How does the pedal feel compaired to the original rods mike?

Chris.

Chris,

The pedal is a little stiffer, feels like I'm using really tight throttle return springs. It works great, though, and I'm really pleased with it.
