dperrong Oct 18th, 02, 8:32 PM I just put an edelbrock 600 4bbl manual carb on my 72 malibu 350. It idles at about 900 avg. but the engine seems to be missing, causing rpm to rise and fall in idle. What could be the problem, and is it because i dont have an inline fuel filter? thanks rocks66ss Oct 19th, 02, 9:20 AM I don't think an inline filter would cause your problem, unless it's so clogged your motor not getting gas! I would probebly start by checking for a vaccum leak, if all is good, and you rule out spark, plug wire ext. how bout setting the idle air fuel to high vacuum, you should install an inline fuel filter.. | ||
