I just installed a mostly stock 402 engine with a Q-jet and need to order a fuel line, but before I do, I was wondering if there would be any advantage to using an inline filter or should I just stay with the factory carburetor one?

I've often wondered whether the paper replacements for the sintered bronze stockers were any good. Installed one before on a stock 67 396ci 325hp with no issues. Carquest replacement filter element. That would allow a one piece line from pump.
