Dropzilla Oct 20th, 10, 12:10 PM Is the 67 convertible rear view mirror bracket one year only? Mine cracked so when I drive down the road I see blur due to the road vibration ( it makes driving fast tough). I Cant seem to find one, so do they repop? The one I saw on a 66 looked different.All metal where the visors lock in. Mine is blue plasticish where the visors lock in. Just looked on ebay 64,65,66,68,69 only. I tried JB Weld, but it only lasted about two days and the wabbles returned. The one pictured is correct, but like you commented 64-72 they could send me the wrong one.I have the plastic rubber piece (marina blue) and is still in good shape (i need a black one). Please let me know what they say. Mine looks like the blue one above, but the rubber piece on white is a tannish color. Who repops the bracket and rubber piece? MikeD NJ Nov 3rd, 10, 8:23 PM I'm out at the SEMA show today and saw OPGI had the bracket and visor retainer for the '67 Chevelle Convertible at their booth showing new 2010 products. The mirror support boot (as they call it) is part number CH27980 and the inside mirror support is C210147. I have pics of both if anyone needs them - just send me your email and I will provide.
