I'm helping my buddy build a 454 that we pulled from a truck and when we removed the heads we found out it was bored .040 . How many cubic inches is the motor now ? thanks for the space

462.5 Cu In. A stock 454 has a 4.250" bore and a
4.00" stroke.

Probably something like a 462"er or so b/c .060" over is about 467/468 or so...

I'm too lazy to run the numbers by using bore x bore x .7854 x stroke x 8 cyl's. = displacement..
