Does anyone here have experience with this system?
Pops has it on his 67 4-4-2 (mild 462 olds roller, edelbrock heads) and it is a constant nightmare. Granted he and I know little about tuning efi, but we have a friend who is close with the guy who developed the big stuff system. He spends some time tuning, gets it real close, and 2 or 3 cruises later it will be acting up somewhere and the laptop comes out again.
From what I understand, the big stuff system is way too complex for a n/a street car and is better suited for drag racing. (a guy talked dad into this system and he regrets it) The car IS driveable and runs well most of the time, just doesnt seem to 'hold' a tune or correct itself too well.
any ideas?

Might want to check over at pro-touring.com. I think Jody had BigStuff on his 65. He might be able to chime in.

John Meaney developed the system. I had it on a twin turbo LS2. It worked well for me, but I don't know if I would run it again. Didn't have any trouble with the tune changing, but the altitude comp didn't work right, and the way his system works on an LS it leads to longer than I liked crank times before the cam and crank signal synched up and it would power the coils.
