I've got a set (Nitto) on my weekend "fun" car.
The tread is almost all gone so these will go to another set of wheels for the track.
But I want to put on a fresh set and was thinking about trying some of the other brands.
Anyone have any experience with them? One verse the other did you like?

Joe, the Victoracer 710's have gotten awesome reveiws at the road courses. I'm sure they would stick about as well on the strip.

I'm not very happy with my Nitto's, I've got 245/50r16's and they hook good to about 1.9 60ft and after that they are very inconsistant (track prep musty be perfect to get 1.90) I tryed my buddies BFG's which are 255/50r16's and Had no trouble running 1.90's steady and they were consistant. I'm going to be ording up a set of the New Mickey Thompson DR's soon for my car and trying them out.

not true (about Victoracers being as good as drag radial at dragstrip). the sidewall is made completley different.
MT Drag Radials- Awesome, but do not expect them to last very many miles
BFG Drag Radials- Awesome, last longer than MT's
Nittos- Supposed to be the Best on the street, but not as good on the track as the BFG's. Last longer than BFG's.
Pretty sure Hoosier makes a drag radial as well, but I know nothing about them.

Believe it or not I got 6k out of these tires on the street. I thought that was pretty good in the mileage department.
I think I could go longer but with the tread on them now its almost a true slick.
I'm thinking I may try out the MT's. I need to check to see if they have 275's in 17's.
