Not interested :-P
Runners are too short and intake too tall. The "valve" covers are pretty cool though :beers:

Too short, compared to what? Those have to be longer than any single-plane EFI runners. And I don't think low-end is their goal here. :-)

It isn't for a stock car. :)

My Buddy did the intake. They are working on getting the covers (and intake) into final production. They actually are pretty cool. I don't have a date though.

it looks sweet. I cant believe one will actually be able get a race type intake from a catalog. wow
I'll definitely be picking up a set of those covers. I hope they are affordable.
Holley is doing some big things nowadays

I would not point at any carb manifold for a V engine as representing anything good in intake design. Tall tunnel rams might be an exception...
So from a performance perspective the cat's meow on intake is the IR intake. There have not been too many examples but look at the length of the intake trumpets on past attempts. Some are shorter but most are longer than this example intake. This intake feature (long IR) is a big part of the increased power output of modern engines. The optimum lengths are different for intake... but look at the difference in output between shorty headers and long tube headers. Same concepts of wave length tuning apply to intakes. If the curves are kept gentle I would daresay that the right length is more important than a straight path.
This one might be getting close for a high RPM application but still looks a bit short to me. It is a challenge of packaging and fabrication to achieve the optimal.

It's longer than it looks due to the coil covers. Look across at the other side.
It's meant for big CID, RPM and/or boost. You can also get a 2x4 top for 4150 or 4500 flanged throttle bodies or a "blank" top to do what you want.
