I want to purchase a set of Cragar S/S wheels and I was wondering what size/width I would need to use 265 or larger rear tires, I appreciate the help (also these do have hcc right?)

IMHO you would be better off with 8" wide and a 4.5" back space if you are going larger than a 265 if using a 265 7" wide with 3.75-4.0 back space

So a 7 inch wide should do the job for a 275 width tire will be fine with those wheels in that size? Thanks for the help and your guys site has been great help.

I think you will be pushing it if you use a 7" wheel and a 275 tire, an 8" rim with 4.5"bs will be ideal.

P255/60 Tire - 7.0 -9.0 Rim width
P265/50 Tire - 7.5- 9.5 Rim width
P275/60 tire - 7.5 -9.5 Rim width
P295/50 Tire - 8.0 -10.0 Rim width

All the above are recommendations by BF Goodrich

If you can get the backspacing you need on those wheels, you can run 265's or 275's easily. What backspacing numbers are available on 15" Cragar SS wheels besides 4.25"?

I prolly will run 265 just for the sake of not having to have the custom width, its more than enough tire to do the job. Backspacing im not sure, I dont know much about the cragar wheel line, I appreciate the answers and have learned alot.
