New to this so I need an explanation on wheel sizes.

Will a 235 60 eagles fit a 15x6 rally? Is there a reason to go to a 15x7 or 15x8?

Is back spacing spec just for clearance reasons?

BFG recommends 6.5" - 8.5" rim with a P235/60. Tire will fit a wear better on a 7 or 8" rim. P225/60 has a 6"-8" recommendation

Backspacing gets wheel/tire combo centered in the wheel well... as well as clearance issues.
