I am converting over to b-body spindles and 12" brakes. Right now I have 15" Centerline Warrior wheels. What I am concerned an\bout it whether or not this combo will work. Has anyone else done this?

Depends on the wheel. Some will work, others won't.

Can you list some 15" that will? Someday I wouldn't mind putting 17s on, but can't really afford it right now. One thing at a time. If I have to, I know that JEGS has some cheap steel 17s for like $50 a pop that I could put on to get it drivable. That could be cool- 17" steelies with poverty caps? Hmmmmn.

I don't think anyone has compiled a list. I know that the factory 5X5 "B" car wheels will work. Some aftermarkets work as well. Take a wheel off and set it on the assembled spindle off the car to see if it will work berfore tearing the front-end all apart.

Yeah, I think thats what I'll do. I have 15" steelies on my Roadmaster wagon for the winter, but as you said, thats 5x5. Thanks for the input. Badass camino, by the way.

You didn't mention what 12" brakes you are going to install. If you are buying a complete kit, the mfgr might have templates available that you can use to see if your wheels will work. If not, try this, go to the Baer Brake website and download their fitment template for a sport brake system (12" rotors) for 64-72 A bodies. I believe that this is a C4 Corvette type rotor with a PBR caliper. Print the template, glue it to some light cardboard and cut it out. You can then try it with your wheel and see if this particular conversion will work. This is a swap that you can put together yourself considerably cheaper than buying from Baer.
Merry Christmas

Steve, I think he is using factory parts from a 12" "B" body.

dennis68 got it- I will be going the budget route. 1LE rotors on Belltech B-Body 2" dropped spindles. Still trying to decide what caliper to use, and which brake hose. But I am trying to keep costs down. I have most of the rest fo the swap figured out, as far as bearings, tie-rod ends, ball joints, etc. I had considered going with C5 rotors, but I'm almost positive that won't work with 15" brakes.

C5 for sure won't work with 15's and i don't see 16's fitting either, my 17's had to be ground a little to fit.
