I'm going to take the velle to a drag stip next year and I'm not sure what slicks would be good for my combination. The motor is 550hp 400+torque rear wheel, 408bb, Ram clutch system with a super t10, 264 first gear, with 4.11 posi, 9" ford, 1350 u-joint and good driveshaft. The rear tires on the car are M/T Sportsmans 31x18.5x15. I get lots of spin with them but I want to see what the car will do with good slicks. I have run the car at an airport that closes down for drag races but no time slips and not quite a full 1/4 mile. Thanks in advance.
