Jim North knows what I am talking about. I took this car apart just befor my son was born and it sat until now (he is 6 now!!!) the funny story is that it started with a heater core needing replaced, then it turned into, "I want to put power windows in" , then it was well i'll just scuff it down and shoot some paint on it... well it turned it to a complete dissasembly! now it is painted porch red again and i am getting the remaining parts back on, this week put a new top motor in, bumpers rear side windows..., but I have moved all my car parts at least twice since i took it apart so i am having a heck of a time finding all the parts. i cant find the 71 grill anywhere, and right now i need the back side window outer felts. why the new set is still not together is beyond me! and how am i missing just the passenger side door weatherstriping seal? I dont think i can buy these items seperatly and the chances of anyone having just those items is pretty slim. Oh well, back to the garage. oh, I still haven changed the heater core yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that is funny. every time I tell someone it is Porch red its because of that joke i heard where the guy tells this blond to paint his porch and she paints his Porsche.

I just couldn't make it down for the show. Had the car packed and the alarm set, but the between the baby keeping us up most of the night and Jennifers entire camily being in town, I chose to stay to help with the family get together. My back was acting up from working on the car the day before. So I just gave in to the higher power and decided not to come down for the show.

Check into salvage yards for those items, im sure they will wont be that cheap though.....there is a place north of here in dallas called ctc auto ranch google them and see what you can find
