I have a 72 chevelle and my rims are 15.00x7.50 what is the largest tire size i can use. i really want to put 235/60/15's on the front and 275/60/15's on the back but im not sure if the 275's will fit any help would be appreciated.

I've got 275-60-15 on 15" x 7" wheels.

Seems to work fine, but I'd say thats the biggest tire that will fit on a 7 inch rim.

The 235/60's will fit fine but a 275/60 on a 7" rim is really pushing it like Thad said, you would be better off using a 15x8 rim for a 275/60 tire. They fit fine, I have them on the back of my 72. P.S. what part of MD do you live in? I'm in the Mount Airy area.
