Holley claims there new efi setups, avenger, HP,dominator can be plug and play with LS motors. There website doesent really get to technical, so I am a bit aprehensive, anyone use this combo?
I run a LY6 6.0l in my 67 camaro, and put a carb on it at first for simplicity, but I am considering aftermarket efi controls for the near future. I would love the self tune ability of the avenger, but I want complete control as well, can a laptop be used with the avenger too? Future considerations are a blow through turbo, or procharger.
What is the pricing on theese controlers? I have not been able to find it?

There are plug n play HP ECU/Harness kits for both LS1 (24x) and LS2 (58x) style engines. Those claims are correct....I was a passenger with Doug F in the Holley's stock LS1 Camaro....you couldn't tell it was aftermarket EFI controlling Engine/Trans (Dominator EFI). I also know of two turbocharged LS1's using the HP EFI systems making over 1000hp.

Regardless of which system you choose, Avenger, HP or Dominator....they all self learn. The difference being, Avenger includes the handheld controller which makes initial setup abit easier but, the laptop can be plugged in using the tuning software for complete control. The system will easily handle boost (blower or turbo). I run a Dominator VMS with twin turbo 570" BBC and DIS.
