The ftp sensor could possably be bad but probably a problem with the tank vent.(evap purge solinoid). The multi miss code could just be a mater of cleaning the injection system with a good system cleaner that flushes the injectors out.The lines should be flushed from the tank and fuel filter replaced.Remove the fuel pump fuse and block off the return line.Fuel railes need to be flushed and the filters at the tops of the injectors inspected for cloging and cleaned out with carb clean if needed.Block off return line and install a pressurized can of fuel injection cleaner installed into the fuel pressure check port and ran till the can runs dry.

Thank you I will try every thing that you recommend tomorrow I did order the evap purge solenoid yesterday but never made it to the part store. I will get a new new gas filter when I pick up the evap purge solinoid.

Thanks every little bit helps.

Up date I replaced the ftp the code is gone. I ran the engine in the dark and found arking all over the plug wires so I replaced with new Bosch wires and plugs and Bosch cap and rotor. I have not done the filter, or flush the fuel line yet. I did check fuel pressure 50psi with key on and 62 when running. But it is still missing bad.

Is there high mileage? The distributor gears wear which causes the rotor and cap terminals to out of alignment when coil fires. You can check this with a scan tool it's called cam retard. Spec is 0 degrees plus or minus 2. You ll have to remove dist. Hold down and grind off edges to turn dist. Snap throttle to 1500 rpms to "update" camretard reading.
Best of luck
