Guys, I just bought back my high school (mid '80's) car. Its a 1970 SS454(LS5) car. The guy I bought it from has put repro Wide Ovals(G70 x 14) on the car. It looks ok but, I think those tires are too short for the car.
What are your opinions on what I should do...keep the Wide Ovals on or replace with a better riding radial?
If your answer is "replace"....with what size?
I intend to drive this car and enjoy it but, no drag racing.

Stok would have been F70-14, so what you have now is slightly larger. On a car that is to be driven, you will be much happier with radials. A good size for those wheels is 225/70/14 or if you like them wider, 245/60/14. Get an extra set of wheels and you can swap them for shows.
