Anyone know what is the largest slick and rim combo that will fit under a 70-72 Chevelle with a stock 12 bolt?

Thanks. graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Mine has a 33x16.0 on a 15x15 Draglite with 4.5" backspace  Oh wait you said stock 12 bolt ;)
I believe you can run upto a 12.o slick on a 15x10 wheel as long as you have the 5.5 inch backspace. HTH and Good Luck graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Clint,

Yes it is. It was done already when I bought it. They are some pretty massive tubs. The Slicks are new Goodyears (still had the tags on them).

I haven't tried these on my sons Chevelle but my Elky has 15 X 10 rims with 5.5 bs and 28 X 14.5 Hoosier QTP under stock wheel well (lip rolled). Only rubs on the inside just a little on the corners.

Thanks guys. I had heard that a 28 x 12.5 ET Drag would fit with a 15 x 10 rim (5 - 5 1/2 Back), But would a opinion from some one who has done it.

In fact, I've had 28x13.50" Streets (same wheel) on the car but the driver side inner rubbed.
