I have 15x8's on mine... 5 inch back spacing on the the fronts running 245-60-15 and 5.250 inch back spacing out back in the rears with a 255-60-15 BFG T/A Radials. The rims were ordered thru Davids Rally Wheels (Wheel Vintiques made). 1-800-901-9555

Bob,just trying to expand my knowledge here but how well does that rolling stock combo on your car fit? Are both ends maxed out or do you think something larger could be fitted?

Clint, If you can get a 5.5" BS on a 15x8 I think you could run a 275 series tire without rubbing in the rear. I had 275's on there before, but the BS of 4.5" or 4.75" (can't remember) and the rims were 15x7 was not enough and it rubbed the inside of the tire and a portion of the frame/wheelhouse, it did not ever rub the wheellips though and they are not trimmed.

a 5" and a 5.25" backspace with a 275 will fit. All 275's are not created equally. For instance a BF Goodrich drag radial is wider than a kumho 275. The drag radials I use will rub at times on the inner fender on driveways if you enter to fast. The outer fender lip has to be removed or rolled to get a 275 on a 15x8 rim. So do some homework and go for the smaller 275 and you will have no trouble. I know that the Kumho 275/60/15 on 15x8 with 5" backspace, rolled or cut outer fender lip, will fit no rubbing at stock ride height

We are running Centerline Auto Drag 3 wheels on our 65 with 5.0 BS and we can fit 275/60 15's and 26x10.5 Mickey Thompson E/T Streets bit the outer lip has been trimmed back about 1 inch.

I am not sure if you can run a 5.5 BS due to the wheel hitting the shock mount,at least in our case it hit the shock mount.
