Can anyone tell me what would be the best way to restore the black face of the instrument panel,& the letters for the lights and wipers on my 70'SS? Thanks in advance! Frank

You can get really nice results by using SEM dye for the black and a Testors silver paint pen for the letters and other silver accents. Just make sure that you do a good job of cleaning the surface and take your time. Try an automotive supply house or paint shop for the SEM dye and a model hobby shop for the pen.
