: NEED IMPORTANT ADVICE! Mounted new wheels and....

I am having the 15x10's put on right now, they are mounted up with 295/50's. There are a couple problems, the driver side had the lip rolled already. The pass side is DARN close, basically rubs without driving, so that needs to be rolled before todays end! Also, the little lug nut stems, one of them was completely stripped and the lug nut just spins in place and will not come off, we're trying to figure out how to get it off without damaging the wheel and ordering a new one.

Any ideas or thoughts on this would be highly appreciated. Thanks...

Luckily this is being done at my work, so it can sit out there and work on it on and off until 6pm.

Phil, are you saying that the wheel stud is stripped? If so what's stripped? Is it the threads that the nut screws onto or the splines that hold the stud in place in the hub? Also, are the nuts like caps, or do the studs stick through them like regular stock lugnuts?

If the stud splines are stipped I would pull out the welder and temporarily tack it in place to the axle to get it off and replaced, if it is the stud threads, or lug threads I would see if you can get to the back of it to grind it off. Just my thoughts without going out and looking at the velle.
Best of luck!!
