just picked up a used set of corbeau cr1 seats for a great price. they have the seat sliders on them already and I was debating making my own seat brackets or just ordering them from corbeau. anyone have experience with corbeau seats in their chevelle? I guess my biggest concern is how do you like the seat height/headroom with their brackets?

I've got them, I think I ordered the low ones(if they make low ones, I can't remember). I'm 6 foot, and I wish they were about an inch lower, it feels like I'm riding high in the car, but that might just be me. Fit and finish were great.
Ignore that ugly shifter handle sticking out the console, that was my first attempt at making one, already was starting to rust I see.

I'm running the same seats and used the factory brackets but ended up cutting them down to get the seats as low as possible. Otherwise there is no way we would fit with helmets on. I'm 5' 10"

tommycomfort-thats a good point about fitting with a helmet on. the cr1's are actually an inch lower than the gtsII seats in terms of backrest height, though the seating position will be the same height...sounds like i might be making some brackets. thanks guys:)

I had the cr1s in my 69 with the corbeau brackets....they were low enough, i am 6'1" and had no issues with helmet et cetera..
Only issue that I had is that they were tight in the hip area so in long trips did not work...i replaced them over the winter with some leather seats that I had to make special brackets to get them to sit as low as the corbeaus....
