I want to get a set of American Racing Toque Thrust D's. I would like to put 15 x 7 in the front and 15x8.5 in the back. I was hoping to run a 275 60 bfgoodrich TA in the back. Will I have a problem with these fitting? Any helpp would be appreciated.

What's the back space on the 8.5"?

70SS-
I run American Racing TT-D's measuring 15x8.5 on all four corners of my '72 SS. Rear tires are P275/60-15 BFG T/A's, P235/60-15's in the front. I have rolled the inner lip of the quarter panels to stop a slight scrubbing, and after that they work fine. No problems in the front. Pix in my '72 SS site below.

Based on Greggs experience above, I would probably go with 255's instead of 275's if I wer in your situation. Just slightly narrower tire and no rolling the lip.

The 275/60-15 will fit but you'll need a wheel with MORE back space...at least 4.5" or 5".

Yeah I was just shopping for those wheels, I wanted the polished TT II's instead and they dont offer the 8.5's but when I was looking at them 3 3/4 was pushing it for not enough. I want to run the same exact tire your talking about. It may fit, maybe have to roll that inner lip a bit? I went with 15x10's  5.5BS
