also think they will hook better than N50-15 Sportsman I's?

I'm thinking mini-tub and lip rolling at least,.. 13.5" is pretty wide... no problems on the rim size, you have the right offset for a 10"

I had a set of the 13.50 x 28's on 10" 5.5 BS Weld Draglites on my car at one time. I had trimmed the wheelwell lips quite a bit and had beaten on the inner wheelhouse for a previous 30" tall tire. Being that the tire is fairly short helps here.

If you want to see what they look like, the January 2001 issue of Car Craft magazine has a feature of my 71 Chevelle with the tires on it at the time.

So the answer is yes, with some careful trimming and possible massaging of the inner wheelhouse.

I have the sportsman I's on there now shouldnt fitment be very similar....?

I suppose if the Sportsman I's are the same size, the fitment would be the same.

My car et'd and mph'ed better at the strip with 12.50 x 30 ET streets than the 13.50 x 28's. The 13.50's looked good because they were a fatter tire.

What kinda time differences?
